More than 2600 Penelec customers in Indiana Borough and White Township were without power yesterday.
That outage started yesterday afternoon as a power line went down in the area of Chevy Chase Heights near the Indiana Borough/White Township border. No word on how long the outage affected customers, but service was eventually restored.
Indiana borough police and the Indiana Fire Association were called out to Philadelphia Street, Nixon Avenue and East Pike Road for reports of lines going down starting at 1:47 PM yesterday.
