The fatal crash and the power lines down were just part of a busy day for Indiana County’s first responders.
A structure fire was reported on Hill Drive in Burrell Township at 10:48 yesterday. Initial scanner reports said that a 30 by 30 foot outbuilding was on fire at 67 Hill Drive. Blairsville, Black Lick, Coral-Graceton, Indiana and Homer City fire departments were sent out at the time along with Citizen’s Ambulance.
A second vehicle crash was reported on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township at 4:11 PM. The Armagh and Clyde fire departments responded.
Commodore fire department was requested to set up a landing zone on Route 240 in Green Township at 6:41 PM.
Saltsburg and Tunnelton firefighters were called out this morning for a crash on Route 286 in Conemaugh Township. That was reported at 12:54 AM by Indiana County 911.
