An Indiana man who has gone on to become a star in the world of opera will be honored by the Indiana County Commissioners today.
At this morning’s meeting, commissioners are expected to make a proclamation for Ed Parks. The opera baritone has been performing with Andrea Bocelli on his recent tour, and has become one of the most popular opera baritones in the country. Next week, Parks will perform as part of the United Way gala. After that, he will perform in La Boheme with the Metropolitan Opera Company. Parks has also won two Grammys for opera recordings in 2019 and in 2025.
The meeting will be at 10:30 this morning at the Indiana County Courthouse.
