Konnor Griffin blasted two home runs over the Red Sox’ Florida Green Monster and the Pirates bombed the Bosox, 16-7. The Bucs had 21 hits, including three each by Nick Gonzalez and Nick Yorke, and two each by Endy Rodriguez, Jhostynxon Garcia, Termarr Johnson, and Jake Mangum.
Carmen Mlodzinski started for the Pirates and gave up just one hit while striking out three in two scoreless innings.
