The River Valley School Board will meet tonight, and on the agenda is a project related to the new River Valley Football Stadium.
On the proposed agenda is the approval of a contract with Force Turf Solutions to remove and replace the failed communications boxes at the football stadium at a cost not to exceed $4,705 which will be paid through the bond budget. Force Turf has another project up for approval tonight. That is a project to install a guard rail along the exit lane and grade and seed the ground between the pavement and the new rail. That project’s cost will not go above $42,724.
Among the hirings on the agenda tonight include department chairs for mathematics, science, English/language arts, special education and the STEAM academy; and coaching positions for boys and girls varsity golf, varsity volleyball, cross country and cheerleading.
The meeting will be in the River Valley Auditorium at 7:00 and will be streamed on the district’s YouTube channel.
