The IUP basketball teams have swept the PSAC West Athlete of the Week awards this week. Women’s star Nyshae Weaver averaged 14 rebounds and 16 points, along with 5.5 assists in the women’s wins over Seton Hill and Clarion. She also became the third player in program history to grab 1,000 rebounds.
For the men, Dallis Dillard averaged 24.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in their two wins, including a 29-point effort Saturday against Clarion.
Both Weaver and Dillard collected their second PSAC Athlete of the Week honors of the season.
