Governor Josh Shapiro is signing a disaster emergency proclamation ahead of the winter storm.
This allows state agencies to access emergency funds and equipment for storm-related needs. As a winter storm covered the state on Sunday, officials warned that the brunt of the impact would fall on the eastern half. Philadelphia is expecting about 18 to 24 inches of snow.
Western Pennsylvania, such as Erie or Pittsburgh, should see the least amount of snow.
