The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to prep for the return to NHL play after the Olympic Break. One player who was ready to go was Blake Lizotte. He talked about the value of having a string of practices before the regular seasons resumes.
The Pens are back in action next Thursday night against the New Jersey Devils. Whether Sidney Crosby will be back is not known. He skated in the pre-game but did not log any time during Canada’s 3-2 win over Finland. He is day-to-day as he recovers from a lower body injury suffered earlier in the Olympics and may be back in the lineup for the Gold Medal game Sunday morning.
