A man charged with drug possession and other crimes related to a stop in Clymer in late 2023 is due in court today for a hearing.
Clymer borough police charged 39-year-old Brandon Krolick of Cherry Tree with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia along with five summary driving-related offenses for an incident on December 29th of 2023. He was pulled over for an expired inspection sticker on Franklin Street and discovered his car’s registration was suspended and expired and that he was driving on a suspended license. When police searched his vehicle, they found approximately one-tenth of a gram of methamphetamine and other drug-related items.
The hearing is for a writ of habeas corpus, meaning that he will go before the judge to determine if his imprisonment is lawful. He has been in custody since his arrest.
