Harold E. Jobe, 86, of Marion Center, PA died Friday, February 2, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.
The son of Thomas and Elsie May Rose (Lambing) Jobe, he was born in Lorraine Hollow, Green Twp., Indiana County, PA.
Harold attended the Montgomery Church of the Brethren.
For over twenty-five years, he worked at Greensteel in Dixonville, PA.
His favorite hobbies were farming and vegetable and flower gardening. Harold was particularly fond of growing roses and dahlias.
He married Ellen Mae Rodkey on June 10, 1962 and they shared fifty-five and half years of marriage.
Harold is survived by his wife, Ellen, of Marion Center, PA and his many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his four sisters: Irene Knox; Dorothy Lightner; Winifred Lydic and Rose Pardee and his four brothers: Thomas A. Jobe, Sr; Harry Jobe; Allen Jobe and his baby brother, Lester Jobe.
Family and friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. until the time of 1:30 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Pastor John Traxler will officiate. Interment will be at the Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA.
