FIRE CHIEF ACCUSED OF STEALING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM DEPARTMENT

The South Greensburg fire chief is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from his own department.

According to a criminal complaint, White allegedly purchased “donations” using the department’s bank account then transfered the money into his own account. He’s accused of stealing around 178-thousand dollars since 2023.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the fire chief, who faces theft charges.
