Carol A. Wykoff Duffy, born August 14, 1942, to Karns and Beatrice Wykoff, passed away Sunday at St. Andrew’s Village after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Carol was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School, Edinboro State College (Secondary Science Education), and Indiana County Vocational Technical School (LPN).
As a professional, she worked at IRMC in Cardiology and for many years as an LPN for Dr. Ed McDowell, and with Indiana Pediatric Associates.
She was a gifted seamstress, loved baking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Duffy, Phyllis Easley, Sue Yenny, Jim Yenny, and nephew, Clifton Yenny.
She is survived by daughter Devon (Indiana), and son Patrick (Beth), (Frederick, MD), and grandchildren Jack (Kyndall), Katie (Justin), and Michael (Hailey), as well as a brother and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to join Carol’s family for a memorial gathering to tell stories and share memories on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Indiana Free Library, or the Chevy Chase Community Center in Indiana.
