The United Way Souper Bowl fundraiser was another great success.
Campaign co-chair Aaron Ludwig reported that 900 pre-orders for soup went out the door yesterday. Combining that with in-person sales at Eisenhower Elementary School yesterday, the fundraiser brought in $13,000 for the United Way of Indiana County. Ludwig was very thankful to the Indiana School District as everyone seemed to like working out of the Eisenhower gym and cafeteria.
No word yet on who was named Souper Bowl champion as that title usually goes to the entity with the best soup. Participants included ICTC, C.H. Fields, 9th Street Deli, Nap’s, Romeo’s, The Roadside, Spaghetti Benders and Chartwells.
