The KCAC was busy this weekend with two major events related to student athletics.
Last Friday night was the Heritage Conference Basketball Championships for both Boys and Girls, and on Sunday, focus shifted to Wrestling as the Keystone Wrestling League’s Tournament of Champions. KCAC General Manager Mary Ann Lambrinos said that a lot of people came to the arena for both events.
Lambrinos said that it’s not just the KCAC seeing the success from these events, but the Indiana community and the county at large.
Lambrinos said that it was important for the facility to host youth sports events through the year, as the facility also acts as a recruitment tool for IUP.
The KCAC is expected to have another busy day this Saturday as the IUP basketball teams will host a men’s/women’s double-header against Slippery Rock.
