The Steelers have an inordinate number of free agents this offseason – 32 – and an offseason of change has already begun with a new coaching staff. Much of what happens in the next few months hinges on whether or not Aaron Rodgers returns at quarterback. There’s no timeline on when that decision will be made but the team is hoping it’s before free agency begins at 4 PM on March 11th, which is the official start of the NFL year.
Yesterday, wide receiver Calvin Austin III, who is one of the pending free agents, said he isn’t sure the Steelers still want him. Austin told his hometown Memphis, Tennessee ESPN radio station that he’s been praying about it, but that he loves Pittsburgh, the fans and the city, and wants to remain with the Steelers.

On the day after Seattle’s win in the Super Bowl, the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, was named head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, filling the last remaining head coach vacancy in the NFL.
