State police from the Punxsutawney Barracks are investigating a theft of livestock earlier this week in North Mahoning Township.
Troopers say they were called out at 3:11 PM on Tuesday to a location on Watering Trough Road near Marchand. They reported a red or black angus calf belonging to a 30-year-old Rochester Mills woman was taken. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact call state police in Punxsy at 814-938-0510.
