Multiple people were hurt in a car accident near Nolo Hill Friday afternoon.
The report came in at 12:18pm for the two-vehicle accident on Route 422 East in Pine Township, just above Ewings Mill Road. Fire officials say that two people had to be extricated from the t-bone style accident.
Chief Jody Rainey with the Cheryhill Fire Department said that the road conditions did not help efforts.
The victims were transported to IRMC for treatment. No word on their condition. The exact cause of the accident is believed to be due to poor weather, although it is pending an investigation by state police. Cherryhill fire crews were assisted by Pine Township Fire Department, along with Citizen’s Ambulance Service and Black Lick EMS, and state police.
