Indiana Borough Council has two items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting. One of them concerns the Washington Street Bridge Project.
That motion will be to award a contract to Ray I. Winters and Sons of Indiana to work on the bridge rehab project. The work will involve repairing the deteriorated concrete slab on the bridge that carries the road over White’s Run, including removal of pavement, partial demolition of the slab, new reinforced cast-in-place concrete repair, installation of a waterproof membrane, repairs to the underside of the stop slab spall and paving of the bridge. No word on when that project is expected to start.
The other item on the agenda is the motion to approve the 2026 Indiana Fire Association Agreement.
The meeting will start tonight at 7:00 PM at the George E. Hood Municipal Building.
