Winter weather will impact portions of the area mainly south of the I-70 corridor Tuesday afternoon and evening. The heaviest accumulations are expected across northern WV, especially in the higher elevations. The heaviest rates may align with the evening commute, making for hazardous travel conditions and slippery roads. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of northern WV from 10 AM Tuesday until 1 AM Wednesday.
