A portion of Wehrum Road in East Wheatfield Township will close on Tuesday for a bridge replacement project. PennDOT announced the closure last week.
The road will close where River Road meets Wehrum, with the detour involving Route 22, Route 403 (the Cramer Pike), and Rexis/Wehrum Road.
It’s a $3.93 million project to replace the bridge carrying River Road over Mardis Run. The work is scheduled for completion in April of 2027.
