Bob Pollock joined the extension in 1994 and started appearing on WDAD’s airwaves that year in pre-recorded five minute agriculture reports. That lead to a weekly appearance on Indiana in the Morning that started in 2006 and continued until yesterday.
In his nearly 20-years of appearances on WDAD and later WCCS on Indiana in the Morning, Pollock said the topic he addressed the most had to do with invasive insects or animals.
He also mentioned that he will miss talking with the public about agriculture.
He said that the extension office will still be there if you want to have questions answered and You can call them at 724-465-3880.
