A man accused of asking for and sending sexually explicit pictures to someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl waived his preliminary hearing in District Court yesterday.
Court documents show 41-year-old Jeremy Garlena will face two counts of unlawful contact with a minor and a single count of contact or communication with a minor-sexual abuse for the investigation that goes back to July 14th of 2024. Authorities say he requested sexually explicit photos of someone he believed was a 15-year-old “girl” who turned out to be an undercover detective. He also reportedly sent nude images of himself and made a sexual relationship arrangement with the “girl”. He was arrested in July of 2025.
He has been free on $150,000 bond since August. No word on when his next appearance in court will be.
