A man charged with criminal solicitation and unlawful contact with a minor is due in court today for a preliminary hearing.
Court documents show that 41-year-old Jeremy Garlena of Indiana was charged in connection with an investigation that went back to June of 2024. Authorities say he requested sexually explicit photos of someone he believed was a 15-year-old “girl” who turned out to be an undercover detective. He also reportedly sent nude images of himself and made a sexual relationship arrangement with the “girl”. He was arrested in July of 2025.
He has been free on $150,000 bond since August. The hearing is scheduled for this afternoon in front of District Judge Tony Sottile.
