Many communities across Western Pennsylvania are digging out from well over a foot of snow this morning after the historic winter storm over the weekend.
Pittsburgh landed on the lower end of the accumulation spectrum, with just over eleven inches of snow recorded as of 9:30 last night. Areas to the north, including Butler and Beaver counties, got significantly more snow, with 20 inches reported last night in Shanor-Northvue and West Mayfield.
The City of Washington was hit hard, with over 13 inches of snow and, in Westmoreland County, 16 inches fell in North Belle Vernon.
