The weather will play a factor, obviously, but state lawmakers are due back in Harrisburg this week for the first time since January 6th. The Senate calendar calls for session days on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The House will be in session on Wednesday only.
State budget talks will be the focus for both chambers. Senator Joe Pittman and his colleagues on the Senate Appropriations Committee are scheduled to meet on Monday. Representative Jim Struzzi and his House Appropriations Committee are to meet on Wednesday.
Governor Shapiro is scheduled to give his annual budget address on February 4th.
