The winter storms have prompted some areas to open up as warming centers in the community.
The Indiana Free Library will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM for people to come in, but will be closed Sunday and Monday. Other areas that will be open as warming centers include:
- Chevy Chase Community Center
- Brush Valley Fire Hall
- Iselin/West Lebanon Fire Department
- Mahaffey Fire Department
- Coal Run/McIntyre fire department
- Elderton Fire Department
- Marion Center Fire Department
- Pine Township fire department in Heilwood
- Hope Fire Company of Northern Cambria
