Another Steelers official has interviewed for a job elsewhere. Assistant General Manager Andy Weidl talked with the Atlanta Falcons for an opportunity to become the franchise’s new GM. Weidly has been the assistant general manager with the Steelers since 2022, when Kevin Colbert retired as the GM. He is one of five candidates for the job.
The interviews for the new head coaching position continued yesterday with an in-person interview with Anthony Weaver, the defensive coordinator with the Miami Dolphins. He met with the team virtually last week. He is the third candidate to be granted an in-person interview along with Mike McCarthy and Brian Flores.
