IUP’s basketball teams will head to Clarion today to take on the Golden Eagles. The Crimson Hawks are both coming off wins against Edinboro on Wednesday night at the KCAC. The women won 67-58 and the men won 93-73.
The women remain undefeated on the season at 16-0 and are ranked 7th in the nation. IUP’s Women’s team holds a 60-22 advantage in the all-time series through 82 meetings and has won 15 consecutive games against Clarion. The Crimson Hawks swept the Golden Eagles during the 2024-25 season, winning by a combined 44 points. Clarion’s women’s team is 10-6 and 5-5 in conference play.
Meanwhile the men’s teams split their two meetings during the 2024-25 season, with IUP earning an 84-57 home win before Clarion responded with an 86-67 victory in Clarion. IUP’s men are 12-3 overall and 8-2 in the conference while Clarion’s men’s team are 10-8 and 5-5 in the PSAC.
