The Steelers held a virtual interview last week with Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter said yesterday it went very well. Today, they will meet Weaver in person at the team’s facility on the South Side. It will be their third in-person interview this week after earlier meetings with Brian Flores and Mike McCarthy, as they seek a replacement for head coach Mike Tomlin.
Another potential coaching target is off the table for the Steelers, as their AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens yesterday hired Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter to be their new head coach.
With the Ravens’ vacancy filled, that leaves the Steelers, Browns, Bills, Raiders, and Cardinals still looking.
