The Penguins won their second straight game last night, in the first of two games on back-to-back nights in Alberta. Paul Steigerwald has the story.

After losing to Calgary, 2-1 in Pittsburgh on January 10th, Muse says the Pens played better against the defensive-minded Flames.
Goaltender Stuart Skinner is 5-1 after being acquired from Edmonton and will likely not be in goal tonight at his former home arena. He says the Penguins are a hard-working group.
The Penguins’ Kris Letang and Erik Karlsson both missed the game with injuries. Jack St. Ivany took Letang’s spot on the blue line.
