The Steelers interviewed former Packers and Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy yesterday, and they have more interviews scheduled in their quest to find a new head coach.
The team interviewed Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores on Tuesday, and while Flores did sign yesterday to remain with the Vikings as their defensive coordinator, the deal enables him to move on if he gets a head coaching opportunity.
Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is expected to be in Pittsburgh to interview tomorrow. Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula and pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, Panthers DC Ejiro Evero and 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak are also all under consideration.
