Several schools around Indiana County are sending students home early today due to expected winter weather this afternoon and evening that could include up to five inches of snow and freezing rain.
Here is the list as we know it as of 10:30 this morning:
Marion Center: High School at 11:30 AM, Elementary at 12:30
Penns Manor: High School at 12:10 PM, Elementary at 1:10
Purchase Line: High School at 12:00 Noon, elementary at 1:00
United: High School at Noon, elementary at 1:00
River Valley School District will follow Friday early dismissal schedule. Middle and High School will dismiss at 12:30, Pre-K and Elementary at 12:50. STEAM students will remain at the high school and dismiss from there.
Ligonier Valley School District: Two-hour early dismissal
Little Sprouts/Little Seedlings Afternoon Classes are cancelled.
Events
Cherryhill Township Fire Department Bingo – Cancelled
Homer-Center/United “Sideline Cancer” games cancelled. Those will be made up at a later date.
