Gerald Laughman, 72, of Blairsville, PA, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA
Gerald was born August 07, 1945 in York, PA, to father Milton A. Laughman and mother Annie (Steffee) Laughman.
Gerald was a US Army Veteran and was awarded a Vietnam Service Medal & Parachute Badge. He worked for Caterpillar for 30 years. Gerald was a member of the Tamarack Sportsmen’s Club and VFW of York. He loved the mountains, his cabin and watching the wildlife, especially the bear, elk and deer in his front yard. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and traveling.
Gerald was survived by his brother Larry E. Laughman & wife Peggy, York, PA; his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Laughman, York, PA; several nieces & nephews; special friends from the mountains, Bic & Bernie; friends from Blairsville, Tammy Snyder, Tom Cheatum & his many friends at Morewood Towers; and his beloved cat, Cupcake.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father Milton A. Laughman and his mother Annie (Steffee) Laughman.
Let us say farewell to a great person. He has been a wonderful friend to all of us & will be dearly missed. Jerry will always be remembered and will forever remain in our hearts.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
