Meteorologists are reporting that we will see another cold snap come through the area later this week.
A cold weather advisory remains in effect until noon today. Wind chills to fifteen below zero are expected, and that could cause not just frozen roadways but hypothermia and frostbite if precautions are not taken. People are advised that if they do have to go out, bundle up and make sure you wear a hat and gloves along with other warm clothing, and keep pets indoors as much as possible.
But this may not be the end of the deep freeze. AccuWeather Meteorologist Joe Lundberg says that we may see a brief reprieve this week, but later on, temperatures will return to the lower levels.
