With their focus on young coaches so far in the search for a replacement for Mike Tomlin, the Steelers will look at a comparative graybeard this week. ESPN and the NFL Network report the team will interview former Green Bay and Dallas coach Mike McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native who actually coached the Packers to a win over the Steelers the last time the two teams played in the Super Bowl, in 2011.
McCarthy is reportedly going to interview this week, and so is Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, who will meet with the Steelers in person after a virtual interview last week.
Other candidates reportedly are Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, Packers DC Jeff Hafley (who is considered the favorite to get the coaching job in Miami), Charges DC Jess Minter, Panthers DC Ejiro Evero, and 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak.

New England visits Denver for the AFC Championship on Sunday. The Rams will play Seattle for the NFC Championship.
