The Pirates’ list of non-roster spring training invitees includes baseball’s top prospect, shortstop Konnor Griffin, and another number one Pirates draft pick, second baseman Termarr Johnson.
Others who will be in big league camp are pitchers Noah Davis and Chris Devenski, catchers Omar Alfonzo and Shawn Ross, and infielder Duce Gourson, who was primarily a third baseman with Altoona last season.
The Bucs had previously announced invitations for pitchers Beau Burrows, Joe La Sorsa, Oddanier Mosqueda and Noah Murdock, outfielders Ronny Simon and Dominic Fletcher, and third baseman Davis Wendzel.
Spring training gets underway with pitchers and catchers holding their first workout on February 13th in Bradenton.
