Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. day, which will honor the civil rights activist. As today is a federal holiday, there are some closures in effect.
Federal, state and county government offices are closed for today, including the county courts and PennDOT Driver’s License and Photo Centers. Banks are closed for the day, but many will continue to offer services through apps, websites and ATMs.
There will be no regular mail delivery today and post offices are closed. UPS is closed and Fed Ex will operate on a modified schedule today.
Students in almost all of Indiana County’s Schools will not have class today as districts have made today an in-service day. The lone exception is the River Valley School District.
