Rose Marie (Tedeschi) Caruso of Homer City born May 3, 1929, in Palmertown/Blacklick, Pennsylvania, died January 13, 2018.
Survived by her son David and his wife Luella Caruso of Homer City and daughter Lynn Nymick and husband Michael of Baltimore, Maryland.
Grandchildren John Caruso of Pittsburgh, Louis Caruso of Chicago, Anthony Caruso of Homer City, Tory Nymick of Baltimore and Christy Nymick of Baltimore.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Caruso, parents Egildo Tedeschi and Albina Gabelli Tedeschi, sisters Gemma (infant), Anna Fernandez, Lena Strini, Inez Sontag and Jennie Moreno.
Survived by brothers Alfred Tedeschi of Blacklick, James Tedeschi of Euclid, Ohio, and sister Hazel and husband Steve Evanick of Blairsville.
Rose was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish. Rose loved to cook and her family always enjoyed all of her food, especially her homemade raviolis and agnoli at Christmas. She made thousands in her lifetime. Rose also loved to play Bingo. She had many special friends at Homer City and Coral Graceton Fire Department Bingo. The family would like to thank the fellow players and the Fire Department personnel who were so kind to her through the years.
Also a special thank you is extended to her special friend Laureen and the staff at Bethany Place who provided such loving care and comfort to Rose.
Friends will be received Friday from 5-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, Lucernemines
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to either Homer City Fire Department of Coral-Graceton Fire Department in Rose’s honor.
