A Shelocta woman saw her probation revoked yesterday in a case where she was charged with child endangerment.
In Indiana County Court, President Judge Thomas Bianco revoked the probation for 28-year-old Ellie McCausland on the request of the county adult probation department. No word on why the probation was revoked. In 2021, McCausland was ordered to serve time in county jail and three years of probation upon her release for a guilty plea to the charge of child endangerment. That stemmed from an incident in March of that year when her son had overdosed on opiates. The boy was revived using naloxone before he was taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Upon the revocation, Judge Bianco ordered her to serve one to two years in state prison.
