Carol A. (Griffith) Weaver, 82, of Home, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026.
She was born in Plumville on Oct. 6, 1943, to Neil R. Griffith and Emogene VanHorn (Griffith) Johnson.
Carol graduated from Marion Center High School in 1961 and spent her entire life raising her children and running Weaver’s Pools & Spas with her husband, Paul. Carol enjoyed practicing hospitality, sewing, gardening, flower arranging and serving her friends and family. She was a member of Old Mahoning Baptist Church, where she once taught Sunday School and served on the Mission Board. Carol was also a member of the PA Flying Farmers and a former PA Flying Farmers Queen.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul M. Weaver, of Home; daughters Jodi (the Rev. Ross) Bailey, of Home, and Lori (the Rev. Dr. George) Cannon, of Curwensville; 10 grandchildren: Camden (Julia) Bailey, Corbin (Olivia) Bailey, Logan (Kendall) Bailey, Tessa (Adam) Henderson, Toby (Ella) Bailey, Laken Bailey, Madison Cannon, Foster (Lauren) Cannon, Sawyer Cannon and Hudson Cannon; 11 great-grandchildren: Talon, Saylor, Kason, Warren, Charity, Jeremiah, Lainey, David, Cadence, Melodie and Thaddeus; sisters Donna Brubaker and Joyce (Al) Peightal; brothers Roger and Dennis Griffith; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Griffith: and brother-in-law Tom Brubaker.
Friends are invited to a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday in Carol’s church, Old Mahoning Baptist Church, 5225 Mahoning Road, Home, with the Rev. Micah McMillen officiating.
