Consuelo M. Mitchell, 94, of Ligonier, PA, formerly of Torrance, PA, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Ligonier Gardens, Ligonier, PA.
Connie was born February 28, 1923 in Abasolo, Mexico, to father Trinidad Mireles and mother Dominga (Orozo) Mireles.
Connie attended SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, PA
Connie was a former seamstress at Fours Co., Blairsville, PA. She was a member of the CDA Court of St. Theresa #5821. She loved gardening, cooking, traveling and crocheting. She made many prayer shawls for the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ligonier, PA and also many afghans and baby blankets over the years. She also enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
Connie was survived by sister Julia Smith and husband Henry, Ligonier, PA; brothers Frank Mireles, Detroit, MI, Jose Luis Mireles & wife Helen, Summersville, SC; God son Nicolas Rovedatti; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her father Trinidad Mireles, her mother Dominga (Orozo) Mireles, her husband Arlington “Arlie” Mitchell (died on June 1, 1998), brothers Antonio, Cruez and Raymond Mireles, and sisters Sarah and Mary Mireles.
Visitation will be held at James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Prayers of transfer will be held in the Funeral Home at 9:15 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2017, followed by a funeral mass in SS Simon & Jude Church. Blairsville, PA at 10:00 AM. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay will officiate.

Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
