Status conferences are scheduled today for Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas and while some are for drug and DUI cases, there are some notable cases on the schedule.
One is for Patricia Ann Hullenbaugh of Indiana, who was in court last Friday for a criminal call hearing in her case. She is charged with criminal homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, child endangerment and strangulation connected with the death of her infant son in January of 2024. She reportedly told police that her son suffocated after hanging out of his crib with his face down in the mattress, but she later told investigators that she smothered him with a blanket.
Also on the agenda for today is the status conference for a man charged with raping a child on multiple occasions. Police accuse 39-year-old Shane Plummer of Johnstown with rape by forcible compulsion and involuntary deviate sexual assault of someone under 16 for the incidents that go back to 1995.
