Timothy A. Snavely, 55, of Clymer, passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at his home.
A son of Joyce Risser Ginter Kuzis and his late step-father, Richard Ginter, he was born July 27, 1962, in Lancaster.
Mr. Snavely was a graduate of Penns Manor High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during Peacetime. He was a member of the Alverda Christian Church and was a Surveyor with Morris Knowles & Associates, Inc., in Delmont. He also held a Cosmetology and Manager License. Mr. Snavely enjoyed building trains, bowling, singing, traveling, camping and watching football.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Kuzis; his wife of 36 years, LuAnn L. Heberling Snavely, of Clymer; two children: Teri Corrado and husband Michael, of Diamondville; and Lee M. Snavely and wife Elizabeth, of Clymer; two brothers: Jay Snavely and wife Margie, of Clymer; and Darrell Snavely and wife Elaine, of Spruce Pine, NC; one grandchild, Dane Corrado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Ginter.
Friends will be received from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Pruitt Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Indiana V.F.W. Post 1989 will provide military graveside honors.
