The Indiana County Chamber is teaming up with Colonial family of Dealerships and county schools to honor the work done by Indiana County’s students and teachers.
The “Indiana County Excellence in Education” awards will honor senior-level students at all seven county public schools along with students the ICTC throughout the school year, and will culminate with an awards banquet in the spring, where one student and one K-12 teacher will be rewarded with a new car donated by Colonial.
Chamber President Mark Hilliard said that the students will be honored for several different reasons, not just for good grades.
More information will be released in the coming months and the program will start next fall.
