A Westmoreland County woman is accused of abandoning a dozen cats after being evicted from her apartment.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office says 56-year-old Laura Zboravan is being charged with aggravated cruelty to animals . The woman left the pets in filthy conditions and without food and water when she left her former residence, according to officials.
Zboravan has a court appearance scheduled for next month.
