Ground beef from Idaho that’s being sold in Pennsylvania is being recalled for possible E. coli contamination.
According to the USDA, Idaho-based Mountain West Food Group recalled nearly three-thousand pounds of ‘Farms Grass-Fed Ground Beef’ with ‘Use Of Freeze By January 13th, 2026.’ It comes in one-pound vacuum-sealed packages and has E-S-T 2083 on the side of the packaging.
The products were shipped to distributors in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Pennsylvania and Washington, and the issue was discovered during routine FSIS testing.
There have been no confirmed reports of illness due to consumption of the recalled products, but officials are strongly urging against consuming the ground beef. The E. coli contamination was found during testing.
