Emergency crews were kept extremely busy yesterday with multiple incidents. Among them was a call for a structure fire.
It was reported at 11:31 yesterday morning for a location along Cornell Road in Burrell Township. Blairsville, Black Lick and Coral-Graceton fire crews were dispatched. They would be joined by the Indiana County Rapid Intervention Team and Citizens Ambulance. No details have been made available at this time.
Due to the high winds seen across much of Indiana County yesterday, crews dealt with 14 calls for lines down in a 7-hour span. These calls spanned across 10 different municipalities, including:
- White Township
- Burrell Township
- Center Township
- Buffington Township
- Banks Township
- Brush Valley Township
- Greene Township
- Pine Township
- East Wheatfield Township
- Marion Center Borough
Other calls included multiple calls for downed trees in the road, as well as a carbon monoxide alarm activation.
