From the US National Weather Service
6:00 PM – As the freezing line inches north, we have ended the Winter Weather Advisory across Lawrence, Fayette, Preston, and Tucker counties. These locations are now well above freezing. Portions of northeast Mercer and northeast Butler counties remain near or below 32°F, so the Advisory was maintained for those counties until expiration at 1 AM.
The freezing line should not progress any farther north overnight as temperatures begin to cool. However, rain will mostly come to an end before midnight. The Ice Storm Warning remains in effect through 7AM, primarily to account for any lingering freezing drizzle overnight and continuing icy conditions in the Warning area as temperatures remain below freezing overnight.
Fog will also likely be an issue in many places across the region overnight.
