One person was rescued and treated for smoke inhalation after an overnight fire destroyed a home in West Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, authorities said.
The fire broke out shortly after 3 a.m. Monday along the 2000 block of Climax Road, starting in the basement and causing floors inside the home to collapse.
Fire officials said the house is a total loss, and the cause remains under investigation by the state police fire marshal.
