Matt Falisec resigned as Purchase Line’s football coach last year, but he has agreed to return to the Red Dragons’ sideline for a sixth season.
The Purchase Line school board hired Falisec last night.
Falisec is a Purchase Line faculty member. His team was 5-6 last season, bowing out of the District 6 playoffs with a loss to eventual champion Bishop Guilfoyle for the second straight year. In his five seasons, the Red Dragons have an overall record of 27-29, including 5-4 in the playoffs. Their best years were in 2019 when they were 8-5, and 2017 when they finished 7-5.
